Meet S A R A H, our cofounder, located in Seattle, Washington. After nearly twenty years in non-profit communications and marketing, Sarah became a full-time yoga teacher in 2019. She provides an accessible class experience that's rooted deeply in the eight limbs of yoga and informed by meditation and mindfulness theory. She became a yoga and meditation student in 2012, and these practices became invaluable to soothing and managing her anxiety and depression. She is passionate about supporting her students on their inward journey of healing and growth, and believes that through meditation, mindfulness, breathwork and yoga, we can heal our traumas. When nothing else can quiet the mind or still the body, coming to your mat can. All you have to do is show up.
Ask Sarah about her travels - she's been to almost all fifty states and lived in various parts of the country, and is always looking forward to her next international trip. She's a movie buff and a music lover, and will happily teach you how to knit or suggest a great podcast. When she's not teaching, writing or creating, you'll find her practicing yoga, sweating in the gym, going for a long walk, snuggling her dogs, or with her nose buried in a book.

Where is the most healing place you've been?
Always beaches - I've been to many that made my heart feel peaceful and full. Some favorites include La Push, Washington; Cinque Terre, Italy; and the coast of North Carolina.

What's your good luck charm?
A tiny heart tattooed on my right foot.
